One Direction recently announced the release of their fourth album titled FOUR with a free gift to their legions of fans around the world – a promotional song Fireproof  was released for free download for 24 hours exclusively from their website. More than one million downloads all over the globe, 8 straight hours of being number one in Twitter Trends and number one in 67 territories in pre-orders for FOUR later… it was clear this was a marketing win for the boys of One Diretion and their management team.

Though only a promotional song and not the lead single for their upcoming album Fireproof is still quite a single worthy slick pop number from the boys. With an easy-breezy melody, combined with John Mayer-like guitar strums (think Wildfire) and harmonies Fireproof is set to blaze the airwaves well after the official lead single Steal My Girl is released on September 29.
