One Direction : Drag Me Down

Zayn Malik signs a record deal and One Direction unexpectedly releases their first Zayn-less single Drag Me Down a day later. The ironically titled single then shatters Spotify streaming record…coincidence? We certainly don’t think so.

Any doubts or worries fans and nay-sayers may have had prior to the release of Drag Me Down is now all but gone as the single is now poised for a massive debut after topping iTunes in 82 countries since it’s July 31st unveiling.

One Direction‘s lead single off of their fifth album keeps the stadium sized feels their last album had. Only this time there’s a bit more intensity and energy which calls their loyal concert go-ers to slowly build their claps and feet stomping into full blast, fist pumping call to arms sing-a-long as the chorus explodes. Love em or hate em – you’ve got to give credit where it’s due. These boys are some of the hardest working in the industry and they never fail to keep you guessing what sort of music they’ll be releasing next. #checkitout

All my life / You stood by me / When no one else was ever behind me / All these lights / They can’t blind me / With your love, nobody can drag me down
