Carrie Underwood : The Champion featuring Ludacris

Just incase you haven’t heard it yet…Country music darling, Carrie Underwood has gone Pop in her latest single, not just country pop, like full on pop (with the exception on her signature twang).

Underwood released The Champion featuring Ludacris to coincide with American network NBC’s coverage of the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics where the song will be featured.

With lyrics referencing Rocky Balboa and Muhammad AliThe Champion sets the pace for an upbeat “Fall down 7 times, get back up 8 times” kind of anthem for those who work hard for what they want no matter what, whether it be in their everyday lives or in their chosen fields. For me personally, this one is going straight into my Morning and Gym playlists for sure. #checkitout

Two hands in the air, I’m a champion / You’ll be looking up at me when it’s over / I live for the battle, I’m a soldier, yeah / I’m a fighter like Rocky / Put your flag on your back like Ali / Yeah, I’m the greatest I’m stronger / Paid my dues, can’t lose, I’m own ya.
